Keep the gateway fast, cheap, and unbreakable across Cloudflare’s 300+ edge locations.
What you’ll do
- Own the routing layer, KV/D1 schema, and the budget-and-billing pipeline that keeps every customer’s spend honest.
- Build the dashboards and alerts that let us see a regression before a customer does.
- Drive p99 latency down and reliability up — set the targets and own hitting them.
What we look for
- Deep experience with edge compute, distributed systems, or large-scale platform engineering.
- You think in terms of percentiles, not averages.
- Comfort being woken up at 3am — and the discipline to make sure you almost never are.
